**Job Description**
The SUMIT Community Research Officer will be based in QUB Communities and Place and will work closely with Start360, the coordinating body for the SUMIT demonstrator site in Belfast. This role involves providing coordination, research, and community outreach within the regional SUMIT demonstrator site. The officer will ensure close collaboration with SUMIT activity leads, partners, and stakeholders, manage SUMIT data to ethical standards, and undertake data collection, anonymisation, analysis, dissemination, and community outreach. The role also includes preparing progress and output reports and coordinating demonstrator project teams by assigning tasks to administration staff, setting deadlines, and ensuring team efficiency for all regional SUMIT activities.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Social Science or other relevant area (upper second class honours degree or equivalent, or a Masters degree)
• Relevant subject (Ph.D, or about to obtain)

Other:
• Specific, relevant research experience working on a Project that relates to Health and Social Care services
• Prior experience of linking with key stakeholders and developing networks
• Possess sufficient breadth and knowledge in Health & Social Care research methods and techniques, to work within SUMIT programme
