Student Researcher

**Job Description**
The Student Researcher will assist faculty members with descriptive, exploratory, or experimental research, publication activities, data collection, data management, and data analysis. This role involves working under the direct supervision of a faculty member, participating in research projects at Ivy Tech or Indiana University Northwest (IUN), attending weekly virtual and on-campus meetings, and engaging in ethics training and discussions of scientific literature and basic laboratory tasks.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures
• Specific knowledge as required depending upon the project for which research will be conducted

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biology
• Chemistry
• Psychology
• Information Technology
Other:
• Must be a current Ivy Tech Student
• Must be a United States Citizen due to grant funding requirements
