Student Researcher

**Job Description**
Assist a faculty member with descriptive, exploratory, or experimental research, as well as publication activities, data collection, data management, and data analysis. The Student Researcher works under the direct supervision of a faculty member, participating in research projects at Ivy Tech, Indiana University Northwest (IUN), or both.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures
• Specific knowledge depending upon the project for which research will be conducted

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biology
• Chemistry
• Psychology
• Information Technology

**Experience**
Other:
• Must be a current Ivy Tech Student
• Must be a United States Citizen due to grant funding requirements
