**Job Description**
The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is seeking a talented and highly-motivated researcher to join the Environment & Health Modelling (EHM) Lab, led by Prof Antonio Gasparrini. The successful candidate will work on the CONNECT project – Cohort and environmental data integration for epidemiological innovation, funded by the Wellcome Trust. This project involves working with large population-based UK cohorts, such as UK Biobank, CPRD, and OpenSAFELY, to develop and apply new analytical methods for studying environmental health risks and climate change. The role provides opportunities for interaction with research networks including the Centre of Data and Statistical Science for Health (DASH) and the Multi-City Multi-Country Collaborative Research Network.
**Skills & Abilities**
� Strong skills in statistical inference and probability.
� Knowledge of designs and analytical methods for cohort studies.
� Substantial experience with R software for epidemiological analyses.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
� Relevant topic (postgraduate, ideally doctoral degree)
**Experience**
Other:
� Established experience in environmental epidemiology.
� Preferably, experience including the management and analysis of large-scale cohorts.
