Research Assistant (Undergraduate/Graduate)

**Job Description**
This position involves assisting in the design, construction, and testing of experimental apparatus, and running computational simulations to analyze results. Responsibilities also include contributing to the development of software tools for sensitivity analysis and data processing, preparing technical reports, and supporting the dissemination of findings through posters and presentations, with opportunities to present at national conferences.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong interest in experimental methods, numerical modeling, and/or software development.
• Basic proficiency in programming (Python, MATLAB, or similar) preferred.
• Familiarity with engineering simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL, etc.) is a plus, but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Computer Science
• Related field
