**Job Description**
The appointee will assist the project leader in a research project titled “Enhancing public service access and utilisation among parents of disabled children in China: Is parent organisation a bridge and enabler?”. Responsibilities include conducting data analysis and literature reviews, drafting research proposals, reports, and manuscripts, liaising with local partners in mainland China for data collection and analysis, and assisting in research and knowledge transfer activities.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua
• Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research methods
• Strong research interests in disability care in mainland China
• Good communication skills
• Responsible, highly motivated and able to work independently
• Familiar with local social and cultural context in mainland China (preferred)
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Social Work (preferably)
• Sociology (preferably)
• Psychology (preferably)
• Honours degree
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• One or more years of research/relevant work experience (preferred)
