**Job Description**
The appointee will assist the project leader in a research project focused on developing a comprehensive architectural strategy to enhance indoor environmental quality (IEQ) towards carbon neutrality at Hotel ICON. Responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, assisting with report writing and documentation, supporting data collection and environmental monitoring, participating in site visits for equipment setup and field measurements, liaising with stakeholders, and evaluating sustainable building materials for retrofit design.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Knowledge of or experience in air quality control, energy efficiency, or sustainable materials
• Ability to write research reports and summarise technical findings clearly and accurately
• Basic understanding of architectural background, sustainable materials, and application
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese, including proficiency in spoken Cantonese
• Willingness to conduct site visits and liaise with stakeholders over the course of the project
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience in statistical software (e.g., SPSS or R)

• Architecture
• Building Services Engineering
• Environmental Engineering
• A related discipline
