Postdoctoral researcher

**Job Description**
The University of Luxembourg’s C²DH, an interdisciplinary research centre focused on contemporary and digital history, is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher. This role involves conducting independent and collaborative research within D4H thematic areas, contributing to the development of training materials and workshops for doctoral candidates, and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations between historians, data scientists, and digital humanists. The successful candidate will publish in peer-reviewed journals, present at international conferences, and assist in coordinating D4H activities.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary research
• Excellent digital literacy
• Strong interest in historical data, machine learning, data visualization, or digital hermeneutics
• Strong communication skills in English
• Good knowledge of French or German
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Methodological, organized, pragmatic, and effective approaches to your work in collaboration with partners

Required Degree(s) in:
• History
• Digital Humanities
• Data Science
• Related field
