**Job Description**
The University of Luxembourg (UL) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join its Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH). This role entails conducting independent and collaborative research within the D4H thematic areas, developing training materials and workshops for doctoral candidates, and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations among historians, data scientists, and digital humanists. Responsibilities also include publishing in peer-reviewed journals, presenting at international conferences, and assisting in the coordination of D4H activities. The C²DH is dedicated to high-quality research and public dissemination in contemporary history, focusing on digital methods and tools, specifically concerning the history of Luxembourg and Europe in the 20th and 21st centuries.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary research.
• Excellent digital literacy.
• Strong interest in historical data, machine learning, data visualization, or digital hermeneutics.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Good knowledge of French or German.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate methodological, organized, pragmatic, and effective approaches to work in collaboration with partners.
