**Job Description**
The Center for Applied Nanobioscience and Medicine (ANBM) at the College of Medicine-Phoenix, University of Arizona, is offering a Postdoctoral Research Associate position for an accomplished and motivated candidate. This role focuses on performing independent multi-disciplinary research in microphysiological platforms to reproduce human tissues and organs, studying human (patho)physiology for guiding personalized medicine, and contributing to industry-sponsored projects. The successful candidate will work within a highly multidisciplinary team, engaging in research related to organs-on-a-chip technologies, cell biology, tissue engineering, microfabrication, and biomaterials.

• Able to work independently as well as in a team under direction of the principal investigator.
• Demonstration of problem-solving skills and capability to overcome complex issues.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Neurobiology
• Biophysics
• Molecular Biology
• Biochemistry
• Related field of study
• MD, PhD degree
**Experience**
Other:
• Experience performing research in a laboratory setting.
• Authored peer-reviewed research publications.
• Experience with computational fluid dynamics (Preferred).
• Experience with organs-on-a-chip technologies, including design, characterization, and validation (Preferred).
• Experience in cell biology, preferably in cancer and/or immunology (Preferred).
• Experience in in vitro modeling, preferably with stem cells and in 3D co-culture (i.e., organoids), and cell characterization (microscopic imaging, flow cytometry, and gene/protein expression and other omics tools) (Preferred).
• Literacy in statistical and/or computational data analysis, bioinformatics or AI/ML is a plus.
