Postdoctoral Fellow

**Job Description**
CBS is seeking a postdoctoral fellow specializing in chemical engineering and formulation sciences, particularly phosphate value chain processes. The role involves contributing to and pursuing research activities on industrial subjects related to chemical phosphate manufacturing processes. The candidate will also participate in the supervision of internships, projects, and practical work, provide support to Ph.D. and Master’s students, and play an active role in program life by organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences related to chemical and process engineering. Additionally, the role includes participation in UM6P’s collective projects and external missions.

• Hybrid expertise in Materials chemistry.
• Experience in pilot-scale testing.
• Expertise in Formulation sciences and product development.
• Expertise in Physicochemical characterization of formulations.
• Expertise in Quality control and analytical chemistry.
• Fluent in French.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to write publications, reports, and projects.
• Oral communication skills.
• Written communication skills.
• Computer skills/programming/modeling (a plus).
• Ability to design and evaluate the performance of unit operations.
• Experience in physicochemical characterization techniques (rheology, particle size analysis, thermal analysis, etc.).
• Ability to carry out feasibility, cost, risk, and opportunity assessment studies.
• Exceptional communication skills aligned with UM6P’s emphasis on knowledge dissemination and impactful outreach.
• Aptitude for teamwork.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Chemical Engineering
• Materials Science
• Related field

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Level of experience evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Extensive experience in unit operations and chemical processes.
• Proven expertise in formulation development and product optimization.
• A proven track record of research publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
