**Job Description**
NTU is seeking a Principal Research Fellow for a two-year duration to support the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences’ Global Asia initiative. The role involves co-leading the development of a field-defining intellectual agenda for the initiative, particularly in the history of Asian Political Thought, identifying research topics and funding, building scholarly connections throughout Asia and beyond, and conducting world-leading research in the field of Global Asia.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Conduct world class research in the history and politics of Global Asia
• Possess Asia-wide research networks, with a strong track-record of engagement with China, India and other societies throughout the region
• Possess significant experience organising academic and other events, and building scholarly networks
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Relevant discipline (e.g., Humanities, Arts, Social Science, History, Political Science, Asian Studies)
**Experience**
Other:
• More than 10 years of research experience working in different cultural environments
