**Job Description**
This self-funded PhD project focuses on enhancing the performance and robustness of autonomous navigation solutions by developing a unified, security-aware integrity framework. It aims to ensure safe, resilient, and trustworthy navigation in transport and other domains by addressing risks from interference, spoofing, and cyber-physical attacks. The project will develop a robust navigation framework for position assurance in complex navigation scenarios with increased uncertainty, particularly in GNSS-degraded or denied environments, by utilizing diverse navigation sources and signals of opportunity. It contributes to the Cranfield Resilient PNT group’s research, offering opportunities for teamwork, training, theoretical and experimental activities, industry engagement, and presenting findings at international conferences and publishing in top-tier journals.
