**Job Description**
This multidisciplinary Ph.D. project aims to generate knowledge and tools to equip local decision-makers, such as municipalities and project developers, to better deal with conflicting values in parallel transitions within the built environment. The project addresses grand societal challenges like circularity, energy transition, extreme heat, and flooding, which often present conflicting interests among stakeholders. The Ph.D. candidate will work within the AMBITIONS project, collaborating with academics from TU Delft, Utrecht University, and Avans Hogeschool, as well as public and private stakeholders. The research integrates knowledge and theories at the intersection of innovation studies, construction management, and public management, with a strong focus on engaging with practice to contribute to a future-proof built environment.
