The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing comprehensive care to patients and their families within the Acute Care – Burn/Plastics and Post Surgical Services unit. This role involves directing and supervising nursing care provided by team members, assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating patient care in alignment with the professional practice model. The position is critical in fostering staff engagement, enhancing the patient experience, ensuring quality and safety, and promoting cost-effective care to achieve positive patient outcomes, maximize patient involvement in their care plan, and reduce hospitalization length.
