**Job Description**
The Senior Researcher will serve as the deputy chief of the Forest Invasion Synthesis Centre (FISC) at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. This role involves co-leadership of Centre activities, mentoring Postdocs and Ph.D. students, and coordinating visiting collaborative working groups. The successful candidate will also conduct their own research program focused on biological invasions in forests, actively apply for and coordinate research grants, and communicate research findings to various stakeholders to increase the Centre’s visibility.

Required Degree(s) in:
• Ecology

**Experience**
Other:
• Ph.D. completed at least 4 years ago
• Substantial research experience including supervision of students or other scientists
• Previous success in grant proposal writing and administration
• Research experience with invasive plants, insects, or plant pathogens
