**Job Description**
The candidate will develop energy storage technologies, including thermal energy storage (TES) and hydrogen technologies, integrated with concentrating solar power (CSP). This role involves leading research in modeling, testing, reporting, and publications.

• Experience in high-performance computing (desirable).
• Knowledge of multiphase (gas-particle two-phase system), thermal energy storage, and/or renewable hydrogen technologies.
• Familiarity with application of machine learning and deep learning algorithms to fluid and thermal systems.
• Experience in thermal system performance and technoeconomic analysis.
• Familiarity with laboratory works, testing instrumentation, and software (LabView).
• Excellent engineering analytical and experimental skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Independent-working attitude towards achieving research goals.
• Problem-solving skills using design, testing, modeling, and analysis with engineering software and tools.
• Creativity, adaptability, motivation, and independence.
• Excellent oral and writing communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a research team.

• Mechanical Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Relevant technical disciplines
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• (Ph.D)
• 3 years (Masters)
• 5 years (Bachelor)
Other:
• Ph.D. graduate (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or relevant technical disciplines) with 3.0 or higher GPA.
• Demonstrated research capability and initiation in relevant areas.
• Must meet educational requirements prior to employment start date.
