**Job Description**
The RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (AIP) is dedicated to achieving scientific breakthroughs and contributing to society through developing innovative AI technologies. This includes research on ethical, legal, and social issues of AI. The AI Computing Team specifically focuses on the design and realization of advanced machine learning systems by integrating across circuits, devices, architectures, and algorithms. This involves investigating energy-efficient computer architecture, device-aware machine learning algorithms, and system architectures for large language model (LLM) inference serving. The selected candidate will engage in research on efficient AI computing technologies through the co-design of machine learning algorithms, software, and computing hardware.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Doctoral Degree
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• > 5 years (Ph.D) for Research Scientist
• <= 5 years (Ph.D) for Postdoctoral Researcher
Other:
• Eligible to apply for the MEXT Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Kakenhi)
