**Job Description**
The Research Project Assistant provides entry-level administrative support for a research project at The Center for Indigenous Health (CIH) within the Department of International Health. This role involves assisting with various tasks including community outreach, data collection, sample collection, laboratory work, and field work. The assistant will collect and organize data through implementing research procedures, understanding research goals, and conducting clinical research procedures.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Native language speaker (Preferred)
• Ability to translate technical medical terminology and concepts into relatable language and examples (Preferred)
• Knowledge of local geography and culture, prior work experience in this community (Preferred)
• Prior research experience (Preferred)
• Proficiency in the use of computers, including software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and Word Processing
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Independent and self-motivated

• Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
