**Job Description**
The Newman Lab, led by Dr. Erika A. Newman, MD, MBA and housed under the Section of Pediatric Surgery, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Scientist. The lab is focused on cutting-edge research in neuroblastoma, a pediatric cancer of the sympathetic nervous system, aiming to shift the paradigm of its treatment. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing projects investigating the molecular and cellular mechanisms driving neuroblastoma initiation, progression, and treatment resistance, and will play a key role in translational research efforts aimed at identifying novel therapeutic targets.

• Familiarity in DNA damage studies and has previous experience in DNA damage biomarkers
• Familiarity with omics data (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, proteomics) and analysis pipelines
• Knowledge of immunotherapy, epigenetics, or tumor microenvironment research
• Prior involvement in translational or drug discovery projects
• Familiarity with University research administration, policies and procedures
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Ph.D
• Cancer Biology or related field
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• More than 5 years (Postdoctoral)
