**Job Description**
The School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at NTU is seeking a Research Fellow to investigate microbial mechanisms and develop innovative delivery platforms. These platforms will be applied in aquaculture health and therapeutic development.

• Proficiency in relevant laboratory techniques (e.g., microbial culture, imaging, molecular biology, and materials characterization)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Adaptability in multidisciplinary environments
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Microbiology
• Biotechnology
• Biomedical Engineering
• Related discipline
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Strong expertise in microbiology, including microbial culture, pathogen handling, and molecular characterization techniques
• Research experience in drug/vaccine delivery systems (e.g., nanocarriers, polymeric systems, encapsulation, oral/mucosal delivery)
Other:
• Familiarity with host-microbe interactions, infection models, or microbiome analysis is advantageous
• Proven record of publications in microbiology, biotechnology, or related applied sciences
• Prior experience in collaborative projects, industry partnerships, or translational research is desirable
