This role focuses on developing best-in-class 3D imaging by exploiting and developing new beamlines at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) to achieve a step change in 3D imaging resolution for real components and their micro/macro-structure over time. The post holder will lead/assist in X-ray imaging experiments in manufacturing, particularly in batteries, additive manufacturing, or composites, and manage large 3D datasets. The Research Fellow will also coordinate MbD activities across collaborating institutions.
