**Job Description**
A Research Fellow position is available to work on the UKRI NERC-funded project, “Dynamic and Adaptable Monitoring of Greenhouse Gas Emissions with Robots.” The project aims to address challenges in measuring greenhouse gas emissions by developing an autonomous, mobile gas flux tower. This system will consist of a helium-filled aerodynamic kite tethered to an autonomous ground vehicle, with multiple vehicles operating collaboratively to create high-resolution maps of emissions and airflow at unprecedented spatial resolutions. The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration, utilizing state-of-the-art robotics and environmental flow facilities, and includes industrial partnerships for extensive fieldwork.
