**Job Description**
A Research Fellow position is available to work on the UKRI Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) funded project titled “Dynamic and Adaptable Monitoring of Greenhouse Gas Emissions with Robots.” The project focuses on addressing the challenges of accurately measuring greenhouse gas emissions by building an autonomous, mobile gas flux tower, which consists of a helium-filled aerodynamic kite tethered to an autonomous ground vehicle. Multiple vehicles will operate together to create high-resolution maps of emissions and airflow. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to develop hardware and software, perform data analysis, coordinate fieldwork, and contribute to reports and publications.
