**Job Description**
This Research Fellow position at A/Prof Sunny Wong’s Lab within the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) focuses on understanding the interplay between diet, metabolism, microbiome, and disease, with a particular emphasis on colorectal cancer (CRC) and metabolic disorders. The role involves investigating modifiable environmental risk factors, dietary and metabolic interactions, and microbiome-driven mechanisms on CRC subtypes. Additionally, the position requires conducting in vivo and in vitro experiments, analyzing the gut microbiome, and evaluating immunological and metabolic responses in preclinical models, aiming to translate fundamental research findings into tangible benefits for patients and public health.

Required Degree(s) in:
• Biological Sciences
• Microbiology

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• At least 2 years of relevant research experience in a similar role, with hands-on expertise in microbiome research and molecular biology
Other:
• Familiarity with research methodologies and ethical guidelines related to clinical and animal studies
