**Job Description**
The Centre of Regulatory Excellence (CoRE) at Duke-NUS Medical School seeks a Senior Research Assistant to expand its research initiatives in health products and services regulations. This role involves active participation in a collaborative project with Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) and Health Sciences Authority (HSA), focusing on regulatory systems strengthening through horizon scanning and the identification, assessment, and prioritization of new and emerging health technologies. The successful candidate will support research, management, and capacity-building activities to create a regional repository of best practices in healthcare regulation, facilitate early awareness of technological trends, and support evidence-based decision-making for healthcare policy and resource allocation.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong writing and critical thinking skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Knowledge in Microsoft Applications and analysis software (e.g. SPSS, STATA, NVivo, Tableau)
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders (internal, local, regional, international governance institutions)
• A team player who is able to prioritise, multi-task, perform well under pressure and work collaboratively in a diverse workforce and interact with academia, industry, funders and regulators
• Familiarity with regional healthcare systems and regulatory environments is an advantage

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Life Sciences
• Public Health
• Global Health
• Public Policy
• Other related disciplines

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience (for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree holders). Entry-level candidates may also be considered.
Other:
• Prior experience in health services research, health technology assessment, or regulatory science is preferred.
• Proven record in the form of high impact publications.
