**Job Description**
East Carolina University’s Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology is seeking applicants for a full-time, 12-month research or tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate will be expected to be highly research-active, driving new projects, enhancing existing strengths in pharmacology and/or toxicology, and advancing the department’s technological and molecular biological capabilities. This role involves establishing and sustaining an independent, extramurally funded research program, contributing to scholarly peer-reviewed publications, and teaching pharmacology and/or toxicology to professional and graduate students. Interdisciplinary research collaborations within the university are highly encouraged.

• Demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of skills in research, teaching, and service (preferred)
• Expertise in integrative and molecular pharmacology or toxicology (especially encouraged)
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Pharmacology
• Toxicology
• Related discipline (Ph.D., MD, or DVM equivalent)
**Experience**
Other:
• Post-doctoral training (minimum 3 years) (preferred)
• Current extramural funding (for appointments above Assistant Professor)
• Evidence of active contribution to graduate training and medical education (for appointments above Assistant Professor)
