**Job Description**
This Research Assistant Professor position within Lingnan University’s Department of Digital Arts and Creative Industries (DACI) involves significant contributions to teaching and service for the MA in Creative and Media Industries (MACMI) programme. Key responsibilities include teaching MA-level courses, supervising MA capstone projects, and actively participating in the department’s development, including the pursuit of competitive research grants.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Good track record of refereed publications, awards, and competitive grants.
• Up-to-date knowledge in the literature of media and creative industries with demonstrated strengths along institutional, historical, or technological lines.
• Teaching experience in subjects such as theory, history, and methods of media and creative industries; comparative cultural policy in East Asia; Hong Kong creative and media industries; new technology and media industries.
• Familiarity with regional mediascapes and current East Asian creative and film industries.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Film and Media Studies (or relevant areas)

• PhD degree (or equivalent qualification) obtained/conferred no more than five years prior to the commencement of appointment.
