The role involves contributing to large UK-wide multicentric randomized equivalence trials, specifically DAME (Diabetic Macular Oedema) and COMBAT (rhegmatogenous retinal detachment), led by Professor Noemi Lois and funded by the NIHR. **Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Optometry
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Relevant experience in optometry, post registration
• Current optometrist role or having been active as an optometrist within the last 6 months
Other:
• General Optical Council Registered (or eligibility)
• Appropriate professional indemnity cover (or eligibility)
• Fulfilment of Continued Professional Development (CPD) stipulations according to GOC guidelines
