**Job Description**
This position at the Singapore Lipidomics Incubator (SLING) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) seeks a Research Assistant/Associate to advance and support method validation and implementation of mass spectrometry-based techniques according to ISO 15189 standards. This role, in partnership with NUS and Agilent Technologies, is designed for analytical scientists with experience in regulated environments such as testing, diagnostic laboratories, or contract research organizations. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team, contributing to impactful work within a collaborative lab environment.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Hands-on experience with LC-MS, HPLC or GC.
• Familiarity with ISO guidelines or other regulatory frameworks.
• Self-driven and proactive, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Analytical or Chemical Sciences
• Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences
• Related disciplines
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• At least 5 years of working experience in an analytical, service, or clinical laboratory setting
Other:
• Exceptional candidates with a diploma in Chemistry and strong relevant experience will also be considered.
