**Job Description**
The role involves supporting Theme 4 within the NIHR North West London Patient Safety Research Collaboration, focusing on evaluating and integrating patient safety into new service delivery models, especially those leveraging digital innovation. The successful candidate will contribute to developing evidence-based solutions for healthcare systems and improving patient care quality and equity. This position requires conducting and supporting research projects, engaging in collaborations, and contributing to the Institute’s educational offerings, ultimately aiming to make a real-world impact on patient safety globally.
**Skills & Abilities**
• (Advanced) knowledge of research methods, particularly in qualitative (e.g., interviews, focus groups, ethnography and thematic analysis) and/or quantitative methods (e.g.: multivariate analysis, logistic regression, predictive modelling and/or unsupervised analyses).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Confident in developing good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Motivated team player.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Health sciences
• Digital health
• Health services research
• Closely related discipline
Other:
• PhD required for Research Associate level.
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) with prior research/industrial experience required for Research Assistant level.
• Candidates not yet officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as a Research Assistant.
