**Job Description**
Working under general supervision, the Research Assistant will plan and execute projects for a collaborative research group within the Departments of Psychiatry and Neurology. Key responsibilities include overseeing the organization and management of multiple small to moderate clinical research projects at Case Western Reserve University and in the community, as well as coordinating project requirements and associated personnel.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Knowledge of the intricacies of research protocols.
• Knowledge of and/or experience administering psychological assessments (preferred).
• Knowledge of diagnostic criteria of various mental disorders (preferred).
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
• Experience using REDCap and/or other EDC program (a plus).
• Professional and effective oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate with diverse individuals both internal and external to the university.
• Effective problem-solving skills; must demonstrate sound judgment and good decision-making.
• Strong organization skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, time management skills, and follow-through.
• Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure; able and willing to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, and conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
• Willingness to learn new techniques, procedures, processes, and computer programs as needed.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Psychology
• Related field (Bachelor’s)
• Approved biotechnology program (Associate’s)
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• 1 to 3 years (Bachelor’s)
• 2 to 4 years (Associate’s)
Other:
• Working with mentally ill and/or disadvantaged populations required
