**Job Description**
This Research Assistant position at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure and training in all stages of the research process. The role focuses on approaching scientific problems from fresh angles using creative interdisciplinary approaches, drawing on strengths in core social sciences such as organizational behavior, economics, finance, and accounting. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Denes, Assistant Professor of Finance, and will be involved in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and assisting with the production of working papers and publications.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Ability to work with statistics software, such as Stata or SAS
• Familiarity with programming languages, such as Python
• Proven ability to work independently to solve problems
• Adaptability, excellence, and passion
• Ability to effectively interact with a varied population of internal and external partners at a high level of integrity

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Bachelor’s degree (or anticipated within a year)
Other:
• A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
