**Job Description**
This Research Assistant position is in Dr. Gregory Priebe’s laboratory, which is affiliated with both Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. The lab’s core research areas include bacterial genomic diversity, bacterial pathogenicity, and vaccine development. The work involves a diverse array of experimental approaches, such as mouse models of infection, microbiology, microbial genomics, immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, and systems biology.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Analytical skills to resolve problems requiring the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.
• Ability to exchange information on factual matters, schedule appointments, greet visitors, explain hospital policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel, requiring courtesy and tact.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• STEM
• Psychology
• Biological Science (preferred)

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Lab experience (preferred)
Other:
• Ability to make a 2-year commitment
