**Job Description**
The Postdoctoral Scholar will be responsible for independent and collaborative development, implementation, and analysis of scientific research in atmospheric acoustics. The role involves computational and experimental investigations of atmospheric acoustics and hyperlocal phenomena in the atmospheric boundary layer, including wind, temperature, and turbulence dynamics. This includes developing new experimental approaches for characterizing acoustics at the shore-water boundary, managing large-scale field studies, and processing/managing data. Opportunities for professional development such as mentor training and grant writing are also provided.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Experience in computational and/or experimental techniques for atmospheric boundary layer measurements.
• General proficiency in experimental design, data gathering, data analysis, record keeping, and other research-related skills.
• English proficiency.
• Demonstrated record of research (i.e., publications).
• Experience in managing complex experimental field study campaigns, including 3D DopplerLIDAR wind measurements.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Physics
• Atmospheric Science
• Engineering discipline
• Closely related background
(Ph.D. or equivalent required)

• Demonstrated record of research (publications).
