**Job Description**
The Department of Pediatrics Research at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to conduct cutting-edge research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and healthcare. The role involves developing and applying advanced machine learning techniques, natural language processing, large language models, data science methods, and mHealth to analyze large-scale, multidimensional, and multimodal datasets. The primary goal is to generate predictive models that offer causal and probabilistic insights into clinical and population health outcomes, alongside managing a multi-phase study to improve HPV vaccination uptake among adolescents.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Ph.D. in Medical Informatics

• Ph.D. in Biostatistics

**Experience**
Other:
• Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research
• Experience studying and implementing public health interventions (highly desirable)
