**Job Description**
This postdoctoral researcher position focuses on addressing the unmet clinical need for new targeted and cell therapies to improve overall survival in children with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML). The role, within Dr. Maria Teresa Esposito’s research team, will involve investigating the SET gene as a dependency and therapeutic target in paediatric AML, utilizing an integrated molecular approach encompassing RNA-seq, ChiP-seq, mouse modelling, and gene silencing technology.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience of working in the cancer signalling or related fields
• Expertise in working with mice
• Expertise in flow cytometry
• Expertise in mammalian cell culture
• Expertise in molecular biology techniques
• Experience with ChiP and Cut&Run (advantageous)
• Experience in leukaemia/haematopoietic stem cells (advantageous)
• Strong track-record of high-quality peer reviewed research
• Excellent communication skills with a very high level of written and spoken English
• Self-motivated, collaborative, independent thinker
• Excellent organisational skills
• Genuine passion for research and for contributing to a supportive an inclusive research environment

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biochemistry
• Molecular Biology
• Cell Biology
• Related areas

Other:
• Completed or is near to completing a Ph.D.
