**Job Description**
A postdoctoral research fellow position is available to lead a research project investigating the effect of ELAVL4 subcellular localisation on human neurodevelopment and neuronal stress responses. This will be achieved using human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived organoids, involving culturing and differentiating iPSC lines, genome editing, viral transduction, molecular biology, transcriptomic, and proteomic profiling. The successful candidate will work independently, contribute ideas, and collaborate within a research team to produce materials for publication.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience in iPSC culture and differentiation
• Prior experience with viral transduction approaches
• Experience with basic biochemical techniques
• Familiarity with computational analyses, particularly with R

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Neuroscience
• Neurodegeneration
• Neurodevelopment
• Molecular and Cellular Biology
Other:
• PhD, or PhD near completion; or other higher level degree (MD/PhD, etc)
