**Job Description**
The R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate for Dr. Kevin Rhine’s lab. The position focuses on investigating how RNA biology changes during neuronal aging, with particular emphasis on risk factors associated with neurodegenerative diseases.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Extensive knowledge of RNA-binding proteins, especially double-stranded RNA-binding proteins.
• Strong foundational skills in computational analysis of RNA-seq and CLIP-seq data.
• Working knowledge of immunofluorescence and immunoprecipitation assays.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Cell Biology
• Molecular Biology
• Neurosciences
• Biochemistry
• Related field
**Experience**
Other:
• Dissertation must have focused on RNA editing, including the use of long-read sequencing and CLIP-seq technologies.
