Postdoctoral Research Associate, Biomedical Engineering

**Job Description**
The Song lab at the University of Arizona’s Department of Biomedical Engineering is seeking a talented and motivated postdoctoral fellow to develop implantable neuromodulation devices. The position is fully funded by organizations including the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the American Heart Association. The successful candidate will conduct and analyze experiments, contribute to research proposals, presentations, and publications, and receive mentorship from the principal investigator.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Electrical Engineering
• Materials Science Engineering
• Biomedical Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Related discipline

**Experience**
Other:
• Strong scientific track record demonstrating well-organized design and execution of studies.
• Experience with various deep etching techniques (e.g., wet etching, RIE).
• Experience with soft lithography.
• Experience with material characterization (e.g., SEM, XPS, AFM).
• Experience with computational modeling.
