**Job Description**
The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Nursing is seeking Ph.D. graduates for two-year in-person Postdoctoral Research Associate positions. The role focuses on research in the self-management or prevention of chronic illness. Associates will be paired with senior nursing mentors to receive guidance in grant writing, obtaining funding, and carrying out interdisciplinary research, preparing them for research-intensive faculty positions at UNMC. The College of Nursing and the Center for Chronic Illness Self-management and Prevention (CRISP) provide infrastructure for involvement in interdisciplinary team science projects, aiding in the development of their program of research, with an emphasis on mitigating chronic illness.
