**Job Description**
This Postdoctoral Research Associate position actively contributes to research, focusing on community-based intervention studies and/or longitudinal cohort studies across the lifespan, with particular attention to health equity and health disparities. Responsibilities include data management, presentations, publications, project/program conceptualization and development, and grant proposal development, especially in areas like food and nutrition insecurity and maternal and early childhood nutrition. Customized professional development and training opportunities geared toward preparation for a faculty career will be provided.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Nutrition
• Public health
• Epidemiology
• Kinesiology
• Related field (Ph.D. or ABD/all requirements met but diploma pending)
**Experience**
Other:
• Training and experience conducting human subjects research and working on research projects.
• Appropriate research background, as demonstrated by direct experience with data analysis (qualitative and/or quantitative; both is preferred), publications in peer-reviewed journals, proposal development experience, scientific presentations, and stature appropriate for a postdoctoral scholar.
• Experience developing and designing interventions and related research studies in the following areas: underserved populations; minority and urban health; food and nutrition security; maternal and early childhood nutrition; community-based health behavior interventions.
• Experience working with various individuals and communities.
• Solid experience with qualitative and/or quantitative (at least one; both preferred) data analysis, including sufficient knowledge in statistical tools and software.
• Solid experience writing/collaborating on extramural funding applications.
