**Job Description**
A postdoctoral position is available to investigate the neurobiological mechanisms and circuitry underlying alcohol self-administration and relapse, sensitivity to the interoceptive (discriminative stimulus) effects of alcohol, and the study of stress in relation to these behaviors. Projects employ multidisciplinary approaches including behavioral techniques, brain region-specific pharmacological manipulations, chemogenetics, and molecular analyses such as immunohistochemistry and Western blots.
