**Job Description**
Texas A&M AgriLife Research is seeking an innovative and highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to support the development, implementation, and evaluation of methane and NH3 modeling and enhancement from livestock animals and manure housing and management in small farms or watersheds, utilizing Python and Fortran programming languages.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Ability to design, analyze, and interpret data from field studies.
• Experience with project management and technical report writing.
• Flexibility to perform work in a team or individually with supervision.
• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
• Proficient understanding of the factors influencing enteric methane and nitrogen gas production.
• Prior solid experience with process-based models, particularly EPIC/APEX/SWAT, DayCent, or other related simulation models.
• Proficiency in computer programming, such as scripting using Python, Fortran, or other computing tools for data processing and modeling.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Agricultural Sciences
• Animal Science
• Rangeland Management
• Environmental Sciences
• Related fields
**Experience**
Other:
• Demonstrated publication record.
