**Job Description**
The Jasper Department of Chemical Engineering at The University of Texas at Tyler invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join their growing research team. This position focuses on AI-driven materials discovery, involving the development of integrated molecular simulation and machine learning workflows. The primary goal is to accelerate the discovery of novel materials for applications in chemical separations, water treatment, and climate change mitigation.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Excellent abilities in molecular modeling and simulations (molecular dynamics or Monte Carlo simulations).
• Excellent abilities in machine learning techniques.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.
• Strong scientific background.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering
• Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering
• Ph.D. in Computer Science
• Ph.D. in a related field

**Experience**
Other:
• Research experience with artificial intelligence is preferred.
