**Job Description**
The School of Natural Resources and the Environment at the University of Arizona is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate for a new 3-year project funded by the National Science Foundation. This project aims to enhance the understanding of the atmospheric H2 soil sink and its response to H2 emissions. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating H2 soil measurements at National Ecological Observatory Network field sites and leading data interpretation, including collaboration with microbial and modeling analysis teams. • Knowledge of soil trace gas cycling and/or related fields
• Skilled in operating and troubleshooting trace gas analyzers, sensors, and/or automated sampling equipment
• Ability to analyze time series data (or reasonably learn) using scientific programming tools
• Ability to travel to conduct field work

Required Degree(s) in:
• Science field with sufficient technical research experience
