Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Associate / Research Assistant

**Job Description**
The appointees will assist the project leader in a research project focused on “Long-shot individual research project: Explainable artificial intelligence in caring mobility.” Responsibilities include technology transfer and commercialisation, partnership development, resource integration, project promotion, and conducting research in Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) for intelligent and caring mobility systems.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Proven experience in technology transfer, innovation management, business development or a related area.
• Solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.
• Strong capabilities in strategic analysis, negotiation, project management with excellent communication skills.
• Strong research background in machine learning, deep learning, human-computer interaction and XAI.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python and at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch/TensorFlow/JAX).
• Experience with Linux system operations, CUDA acceleration and Docker/Kubernetes containerisation deployment.
• Hands-on experience in data collection, processing and analysis.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua.
• Attentive, meticulous and responsible.
• Strong communication and execution skills as well as teamwork spirit.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• AI
• Computer Science
• Human-Computer Interaction

For Postdoctoral Fellow:
• Doctoral degree and no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.

For Research Associate:
• Master’s degree or a good honours degree.

For Research Assistant:
• Honours degree or an equivalent qualification.

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• No more than 5 years (Postdoctoral Fellow, post-qualification)
• 3 or more years (Research Associate, research/relevant work experience with good honours degree)
