**Job Description**
The Ghalei Lab at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join a research team studying fundamental mechanisms in RNA biology, RNA-protein biochemistry, structural biology, and cell and molecular biology. The role involves advancing the understanding of RNA function and regulation in biology and disease within a collaborative environment, contributing to ongoing projects, and developing independent research directions.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Excellent scientific writing ability
• Strong oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and collegially with colleagues
• Expertise in RNA biology, biochemistry, and/or high-throughput next-generation sequencing approaches (preferred)
• Demonstrated record of scientific productivity, such as peer-reviewed publications (strongly preferred)

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Ph.D. or equivalent (M.D., ScD., D.V.M., DDS etc.) in an appropriate field
• Relevant discipline (e.g., RNA biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, structural biology) (preferred)
