**Job Description**
The College of Innovation and Technology is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow for a full-year appointment. This position focuses on LiDAR sensors and sensing systems, involving cutting-edge projects that apply LiDAR and other sensor modalities in real-world environments such as smart systems, healthcare monitoring, and activity recognition. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Ahmad Alsharoa and will have opportunities to collaborate with researchers across all three University of Michigan campuses. This is a benefits-eligible appointment with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Proven experience working with LiDAR sensors, point cloud data processing, and sensor integration.
• Strong background in signal processing, computer vision, or machine learning.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB.
• Strong publication record in relevant research areas.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Electrical Engineering
• Computer Engineering
• Computer Science
• A related field (Ph.D.)
**Experience**
Other:
