**Job Description**
The College of Innovation and Technology is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow for a full year (12 months) to focus on LiDAR sensors and sensing systems. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Ahmad Alsharoa on cutting-edge projects involving the application of LiDAR and other sensor modalities in real-world environments, including smart system, healthcare monitoring, and activity recognition. This role offers opportunities to collaborate with researchers across all three University of Michigan campuses.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Proven experience working with LiDAR sensors, point cloud data processing, and sensor integration.
• Strong background in signal processing, computer vision, or machine learning.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB.
• Strong publication record in relevant research areas.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Electrical Engineering
• Computer Engineering
• Computer Science

**Experience**
Other:
• Proven experience with LiDAR sensors, point cloud data processing, and sensor integration.
• Strong publication record in relevant research areas.
